Complinet - 3rd Annual Compliance Conference

Thursday 18th January 2006 saw Complinet host the 3rd Annual Compliance Conference at the QEII Event Venue in London. Hitec Laboratories co-sponsored this important event where the pre-eminent Compliance professionals from the worlds of Banking, Insurance and Finance gathered to discuss and present the latest Compliance issues and solutions.

Amongst these were Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Fraud, Sarbanes-Oxley and the fast approaching MiFID regulations and ever increasing FSA guidelines. Hitec's new Policies, Procedures & Compliance Management product CONFORM™ was well received. The ability to not only distribute Policies and Procedures, but also prove beyond doubt that they had been received, read and understood was seen to be a high priority for everyone. The event was topped by an awards dinner which was hosted by the FSA’s Managing Director, Regulatory Affairs Mr. David Kenmir.

Hitec already have a large presence in the heavily regulated world of finance so are well placed to provide advice and share knowledge within this sector. The addition of CONFORM™ to our existing electronic document management technologies is a huge opportunity to help companies to achieve Compliance, Better Governance and Best Practice.
